Steve Wallace

Steve is a qualified individual and team coach, and experienced facilitator. He also has 30 years’ experience in law enforcement nationally and internationally – recently leaving as a chief superintendent.


Steve’s mission is to create a safe space for teams and individuals to experiment and stretch their thinking and tackle their current challenges. Steve aims for his coaching to be the catalyst that unleashes their true potential that may be hidden. His constant focus is on achieving sustainable impact and ROI for your development investments.


Steve’s coaching draws on his police leadership experiences - he consistently delivered high team performance in collaborative environments and the most challenging contexts. As head of leadership development for the Metropolitan Police at New Scotland Yard, he was integral to delivering an ambitious £10m investment via the award winning ‘Leading For London’ organisational development programme - delivered for all 11000 leaders. He has extensive experience working across the public sector in collaboration over resources, challenges, and priorities. For his last year in policing Steve was seconded to the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office as a senior police advisor in Afghanistan, forming part of the NATO Resolute Support Mission.


Steve was a Borough Commander in London and spent three years inspecting forces, delivering impactive assessments as part of Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary.


Steve voluntarily chairs the advisory board for ‘Merrywood Education’ which recently opened two trauma-informed independent special schools for children with the most complex needs. Steve loves the outdoors and is a triathlon coach and multiple Ironman finisher, using his sporting experiences to help shape his approaches.
