Niall Macgregor

As a facilitator and coach, Niall has been helping individual leaders and teams to define, commit to and achieve learning and development goals for well over a decade.

Niall uses a range of recognised tools and methods (including psychometrics and behavioural event interviewing) to help build self-awareness, identify strengths, challenge thinking and support change when required.

Niall began his career as an military officer with the British Army and attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. It was there - and in his subsequent military tours - that he learned a huge amount about himself as a leader and developed a keen interest in the psychology of performance under pressure.

Following his departure from the army, Niall trained as a professional actor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. It was from here that he moved to a career in forum theatre, facilitation and one to one coaching. Niall has a particular interest in communication dynamics and is accredited with the British Psychology Society.

Today, he is passionate about helping other leaders to recognise and acknowledge what they are good at; to build confidence in themselves; to be goal-focused; and to take small steps when working on big personal challenges.

Niall works across a wide variety of corporate and public sector organisations including finance and banking, the legal sector and technology. Like those he works with, Niall knows how it is to lead through uncertainty, to perform under pressure, and to balance a busy home-life with the demands of work and managing a career.
